Our Newmarket office is our primary physical office location. We are on site only on select days and the office is not available for unscheduled walk-in administrative requests.
If you need to drop off or pick up documents, make an in-person payment, collect forms, or attend to another administrative matter, please contact our office staff first. They will arrange a time when our team is on site and available to assist you.
This helps us make sure someone is actually available when you arrive and prevents interruptions while patients are being seen.
Please do not attend the office without an appointment or a pre-arranged administrative visit.
Our telephone lines are active on regular business days from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, except when the office is closed or on holidays.
If a staff member is unable to answer, please leave a voicemail. We will address your message as soon as reasonably possible.
Our telephone system does not accept voicemail after 5:00 PM or on weekends. If you call outside our telephone hours, a recorded message will let you know that the office is closed.
We have intentionally structured our phone system this way so that messages are received while our staff are working and can be addressed in real time, rather than accumulating overnight or over a weekend. This allows our team to focus on current patient care and respond more effectively during business hours.

Our office does not provide emergency or after-hours medical care. If you have an urgent medical concern that cannot safely wait until the next business day, please attend an Emergency Department.
On-site parking at 20 Charles Street is very limited.
Please park only in spaces designated for our office. We strongly discourage parking in neighbouring private lots or undesignated spaces. Vehicles parked elsewhere may be blocked in or towed.
Please allow a little extra time before your appointment to find appropriate parking.

Most medically necessary physician services provided to patients with valid Ontario health coverage are insured by OHIP. However, some services are not covered by OHIP and may require payment by the patient.
Completion of forms, medical notes, letters, insurance documentation and other administrative requests may not be covered by OHIP.
Information regarding fees associated with cortisone injections will be added here.
In addition to our office at 20 Charles Street, Dr. Saun sees patients and performs procedures and surgery at several hospital locations across York and Durham Regions.
Please check your appointment information carefully before travelling. The location of your appointment will depend on the type of visit, procedure or surgery you are having.
Hospital clinics are not alternative locations for contacting our office. Document drop-offs, payments, forms and other administrative matters should be arranged directly with our office staff.

Enter through the Main East Entrance and register at the Welcome Centre.

Selected minor surgical procedures are performed here.
This is not inside the main Southlake Hospital building.
Your appointment is at 581 Davis Drive, on the 4th floor of the Medical Arts Building.

Surgeries requiring the main operating room are performed at Southlake Hospital.
Enter through the Main East Entrance and register at the Welcome Centre.
If you are having surgery in the main operating room, you must have a responsible adult available to take you home after your procedure. There are no exceptions.
You cannot drive yourself home and you cannot take an Uber, taxi or other ride service home on your own.
Please make these arrangements before the day of your surgery.

We see consultations and perform selected minor procedures in the Minor Treatment Clinic.
From the main lobby, take the escalator to the second floor. The Surgical Registration Desk is located through the doors to the right.

From the main lobby, turn right into the corridor leading to N-Wing. Continue down the hallway to the Fracture Clinic on your right-hand side.

Selected surgeries are performed in the operating room at Bowmanville Hospital.
Enter through the main entrance and take the B elevators to the Surgical Registration Office, located on the first floor in Room 101.

If your procedure involves sedation or a general anesthetic, you must have a responsible adult available to take you home after surgery.
You cannot drive yourself home or travel home alone by Uber, taxi or another ride service.
Please arrange your transportation before the day of surgery.
